MIllar at BKV
To clear up some rumors Mark Millar posted some comments at BKV:
Swore blind I wouldn't register for any more forums as I spend a preposterous amount of time on my own site as is. Also swore I'd never post here thanks to my intense personal dislike of both BKV (as a human being) and his work. HOWEVER, I need to clarify a couple of things...
My Marvel contract expires in The Fall and I'm using this opportunity to bugger off for a while and spend my time jerking off to skanky daytime chat-show hostesses (as I did before I broke into comics a while back). Spider-Man wrapped in April, Wolverine will wrap in September, Ultimates 2 wraps in February or thereabouts and Ultimate FF will run until June. The only other thing that might appear under this Marvel contract is a mini-series idea I had, but that's it. I'm gone in the Fall and the work will trickle out until June, like I said, but then I'm off to eat cheese and lie in front of the TV for a while.
Of course BKV had to do a follow up:
I knew this thread would bring that self-centered douche scurrying out of the shadows. If there's one thing Millar loves writing about, it's himself. Too bad DC owns the rights to his distinctive name and likeness thereof ever since he wrote himself into that Flash story a few years ago... and guess who Paul Levitz just offered the chance to write Mark's ongoing adventures?
That's right, get ready for ALL-STAR MILLAR, written by yours truly and drawn by Hitch, coming in early 2007! It's the adventures of a tiny Scotsman trying to make it in a big world, DC style!
So it goes.
