The Week at the Curve

Week of May 22, 2005

Too busy planning and orienteering your treks for Memorial Day Weekend to keep up with TGC this week? Not to worry, I am back once again to brief you and link you to the posts and threads that went on without you.

Alex Ness got the ball rolling this week on the state of under- and un-used writers in the industry this week. The conversation starts here, and his follow-up list proceeded.

Also, just when you least expected it, Orson Scott Card's Ultimate Iron Man #2 came out this week. And while we reallly didn't say much about it, Beliefnet.com got TGC'd for the first time following Card's comments about Star Wars.

Check out our own quips this week, as Tom Bodurant talks about racehorses and Flash and how Johns has come up short. Also, take a little trip down Retro Road with Lea as she re-examine's "Rock & Rule."

Scattered headlines of the week of course peppered us up as always, right alongside Suicidegirls.com interviews with Guy Davis and Brian Wood. We'll also continue to be your source on the blogging front of the Rann-Thanagar War.

Safe travel wishes to all in the meantime. Thanagarians watch your Devil Cultist backs. And I'll see you around next week. Same Curve time. Same Curve URL.
