Supporting Part of TGC's Home Team

I like to think I have my finger on the pulse of this industry. I also like to tell myself I'm only five pounds over my ideal weight.

My longtime friend, Johanna Draper Carlson, showed me another way I had dropped the ball last week when she linked folks to the return of TGC associate Lea Hernandez's webcomic Near-Life Experience.

Lea, it's about a week late, but better late than never. As much as I appreciate Lea's wit and knowledge when it graces TGC, I absolutely drool when I see her artistic storytelling efforts. I long for a world where fans stop drooling over junk from Liefeld and his ilk, and start appreciating the folks that deserve our drool--like Lea. Sorry, should have come up with a better visual than a potential drooling fanbase...

Oh, and Lea...you are hot indeed.
