Stuart Moore's First Firestorm Issue Arrives This Week

DC was kind enough to send me a black and white preview of Firestorm 14. And after having actually enjoyed Dan Jolley's run on the book for the most part, I was prepared to be disappointed. Fortunately, the read was entertaining in myriad ways. It's been a long while since a comic has genuinely amused me. And the scenes at STAR Labs: Detroit produced a few audible chuckles.

Moore and artist Jamal Igle seem to be very much in synch, which is key for my enjoyment of the book. Do yourself a favor, and pick it up.

Moore's one of the smartest and yet most underappreciated storytellers in the industry today. And I'd say that even if he didn't grant me interviews.
