Silver and golden age

I was perusing Will Pfeiefer's weblog "X-Ray Spex" when I came across this very humorous exceprt from comics passed. Little did I know that the post would lead me to the Geof Johns Forum on which fans are scanning and posting their favorite, strange Superman-related covers and excerpts. You do have to join Johns' message board to read the posts, which I highly encourage because they're so funny. Also, if this is your cup of tea, check this out.
