Catch the X-Fever!

Momma's Boy
Boston.com has an article up on Brett Ratner, director of X-Men: The Last Stand, and the women in his life:

Brett Ratner, director of ''X-Men: The Last Stand," may have a well-chronicled reputation as a ladies' man, including a budding friendship with a certain Hollywood starlet who's a fixture in the gossip rags, but it seems there's only one woman the 37-year-old, cherub-faced party boy will drop everything for: his mom.

When Ratner's cellphone rings during a Manhattan press event for the latest ''X-Men" movie, he doesn't hesitate to answer it -- even if he's surrounded by a handful of journalists with tape recorders in hand.

Fire, Ice and Lightning
The Chicago Sun-Times has a feature up on the actors playing Iceman, Pyro and Callisto, revealing how the movie Callisto is a bit different from the comic book one:

They're joined by newcomer Dania Ramirez as Callisto, a mutant capable of moving at lightning speeds and sensing the whereabouts of other mutants. The plot once again has the X-Men facing off against the Brotherhood of Mutants after the U.S. government develops a cure for mutants and begins to use it as a weapon.

Chris Claremont/Stan Lee vs. Jean Grey
While most comic fans have probably come to expect to see Stan Lee pop up in every Marvel movie, this summer he's joined by Chris Claremont in X-Men: The Last Stand. The scene is available on YouTube (beware of potential spoilers):

(Found on Millarworld)

Lastly, Comic Book Resources has a whole bunch of new photos from the movie; go check them out.
