Batgirl Meme

It all began with a post by Andi Watson (Love Fights, Breakfast After Noon) in which he showed off some character designs for an aborted DC Elseworlds Batgirl books with C.B. Cebulski from several years ago. Although the pitch itself died, Andi's sketches inspired cartoonists Dean Trippe and Jamie Dee Galey to draw their own alternate versions of DC's Batgirl.

And then it began. Other artists on livejournal.com who were friends with Trippe and/or Galey took on the challenge, and made their own versions. In the span of a few days, over 3 dozen had participated in this defacto meme.
