Pete Woods takes on some Marvel work

Before we even get into the details, sit down again. Take a deep breath. Drink a little water.

This doesn't mean Woods is bailing on DC's Catwoman.

Over at Woods' LiveJournal, the always dependable artist reveals some news on upcoming project:

Career wise- it looks like I'll be doing an 8 page story (actually a series of 4 stories 2 pages each) in Amazing Fantasy #15 along with the cover. Mercury Studio member Jeff Parker will also be doing a story. For those of you counting, yes- that's a Marvel book. It also looks like I'll be doing 8 page back-up stories for each of the 6 issues of X-Men: Deadly Genesis. I get the chance to work with Mr. Brubaker, so color me glad. This is on top of the regular Catwoman work in case anyone was getting worried.

I'm still not even clear on what X-Men: Deadly Genesis IS, or who the artist for the main part of the book will be (If you know, please drop a comment here to inform me). But, Bru and Woods are always dependable in my book, so I'll take a chance and buy their book.

UPDATE: The always informed Chris Hunter has let me know that Trev Hairsine is the artist. You can get more info here.
