A party to wake the dead

Comic creator Gilgrim, whose book "The Cemeterians" is published by Slave Labor Graphics, introduced the comic to the world Friday night at a party in Fullerton, Calif., the Fullerton Hornet reports:

Gilgrim has spent years in the comic book business trying to make a name for himself, working with notable companies like TokyoPop and the infamous Marvel Comics.

The event was headed by MC Matt McCollum a stand up comedian in theearly stages of his career. He kicked off the event by entertaining the crowd and introducing the creator of the comic book.

McCollum also filled the silence between bands “Tonka” and “Grave Robber Dance Party.” “The Cemeterians” is Gilgrim’s first solo project, he describes it as “a comic books for goth, emo and punk kids.”
