X-Fever II: Electric Bugaloo

More news about your favorite mutants and their upcoming film ...

What, no Catwoman II?
Despite reports saying otherwise, CNN reports that Halle Berry is done with superheroes.

After playing Storm in three "X-Men" movies and the title role in 2004's "Catwoman," the 39-year-old actress says: "I think I'm done. I'm fresh out of superheroes at this point."

Over at SciFi Wire, Berry talks more about her role in the third movie.

Drinking from the Fountain

Speaking of SciFi Wire, they talk to Hugh Jackman about his role in another comic-related movie, The Fountain:

I think that [The Fountain] is one of the most extraordinary things that I've ever seen," Jackman said in an interview here over the weekend while promoting his upcoming X-Men: The Last Stand. "I saw it, and I thought, 'Oh, man, I'm so glad to be in that.' It's like nothing you've ever seen. I can guarantee you that, and I think that [director] Darren [Aronofsky] is the modern-day Kubrick. I think that he is simply an artist and probably a genius.

The X Games

Per several sources, the new X-Men tie-in video game has shipped, and Team Xbox has a review:

With the recent success of many superhero based games (Spider-Man, The Hulk, etc.), it's always sad to see a title that doesn't live up to expectations. Unfortunately, so is the case with X-Men: The Official Game. The limited character selection (Wolverine, Iceman Nightcrawler) was an interesting direction, and one that needed to be perfect to avoid criticism. The result is an extremely linear action game that doesn't fire on all cylinders.

Movie enthusiasts may want the game anyway to find out what happened to Nightcrawler in the movie's continuity.
