Diamond Select makes Battlestar Galactica collectibles deal

I'm not big on toys, but I am a fan of Battlestar Galactica, so I'm torn on this: Diamond Select Toys has announced a deal with Art Asylum and Universal Studios Consumer Products Group to produce products based on the Sci Fi series.

Art Asylum will develop resin collectibles and Minimate figures (above) for the '70s show and the current series. Diamond Select will, of course, market and sell them. The first Minimates series will be released later this year.

The package art sort of freaks me out, for some reason.
