Dark Crystal Meets Dexter's Laboratory

Sci Fi wire is reporting that Genndy Tartakovsky has been signed to direct a sequel to the Dark Crystal entitled Power of the Dark Crystal.

Tartakovsky is the creator of the cartoons Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack.

The original film was co-directed by the late Jim Henson back in 1982.
