Friends mourn passing of "Trudy" cartoonist

Danbury, CT's News Times has a touching story on friends mourning the loss of 'Trudy' cartoonist Jerry Marcus.

The strip, which was distributed by King Features, appeared internationally, and told the tale of a sharp, put-upon young housewife.

Marcus, who went on to syndicate a daily comic about a put-upon housewife named Trudy, died on July 22 in Waterbury Hospital following a long illness. He was 81 years old.
