The Week at the Curve

Week of July 10, 2005

San Diego was buzzing this week (and you can make your own judgments about Warren Ellis' coverage), but so was TGC.

Confused as I am with the Marvel Universe lately? Looks like Brian Michael Bendis might be too. If trying to figure him out just made your head hurt as well? Take a break with this House of M parody. It's at least as entertaining as the stuff on the racks right now.

Oh yeah, and there was that All-Star Batman and Robin #1 that came out this week. If you happened to get off work and to your local comics shop in time to get one (and have your choice of covers), you're one up on me.

Also, check out Popmatters.com's piece on the future of superhero films. It's a bleak look; but the good news is that you can cheer yourself up by reading Alex's newest batch of Herald reviews.
