Introduction

As this is my first posting on The Great Curve, I guess I should introduce myself.

I’m 32, live with my wife in Queens, no kids yet, work part time for a private foundation and spend the rest of my time writing. I’m simultaneously working on a novel and several graphic novel scripts. So far, my only published works are a self published mini-comic, Starfish with Leigh Gallagher (The Witching) and my regular reviews and miscellaneous other stuff at Comic Book Galaxy.

I’ve been a pretty hard core comic book fan for as long as I’ve been able to read, and my tastes have varied widely from mainstream to alternative and everything in between. I enjoy the scholarly discussion of serious comics, and hope that by drawing attention to the more innovative projects, I can, in my own small way, help the artform that I love to flourish. That’s why I joined The Great Curve, and I hope that you enjoy reading my posts.
