The Week at the Curve

Closing out January in world of comics, it's been a week of everything that makes the industry (and TGC) worth following; we've had hope, struggle, and silly little instances of politics trying to rear its head. And of course, all of this has been amid the weekly standard creative team announcements.

Kicking off the week, we linked to a story from the Detroit News about artist Bill Messner-Loebs and the ringer he's been put through. This was followed up by two cents from from Mark Millar encouraging participation in an online petition to see a mini-series by Loebs.

Among the upcoming project announcements of the week, I'm definitely willing to bite this new Alfred Pennyworth mini, as well as the long awaited no-brainer of a matching between Garth Ennis and Ghost Rider. And who can't be excited about a new Magnus, Robot Fighter?

Meanwhile, TGC is still aging and evolving right along with its writers. If you've been curious to see exactly who this mysterious team of posters is, check out the first two entries in our "Getting to Know TGC" series with profiles of Alex Segura Jr. and birthday boy Alan David Doane.

Then finally, don't mess with giant sentient sponges. That's the way it is the Curve World this week, kids. Tune in next week. Same Curve time. Same Curve URL.
