Warren Ellis Covers Covers

Today PULSE posted the second part of Warren Ellis' essays on Covers (Part 1 can be found here, and in fact TGC commented on an aspect of that first part here) [the essays are part of the larger ongoing Streaming column he does for PULSE]. And these two parts apparently only scratch the surface of what Ellis has to say on the subject, given that he teases at the end of his latest installment:

"Next week, if I get the chance, an illustrated Guide To Good Covers. Or something."

If you have any interest in the presentation of the comic artform, read these. Ellis clearly, as with most things he pursues, has poured a great deal of knowledge and theory into his analysis.
