WB Interactive & D3 Save 100 Bullets
IGN.comics is reporting that the video game adaptation of 100 Bullets is back in development. Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment and D3Publisher of America are set to begin work on a new version of the game, the previous one having been scrapped by Acclaim after they entered bankruptcy.
"100 Bullets has all the elements necessary to translate exceptionally well into video games," said Careen Yapp, VP of licensing and business development of D3PA. "We look forward to bringing the unique characters and storyline of 100 Bullets to life with the latest interactive technology and graphics."
100 Bullets is an award-winning comic series from writer Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso, in which a shadowy stranger gives individuals a way to take revenge on those who wronged them: an untraceable handgun and a 100 bullets. The series is available monthly from Vertigo/DC comics (a sister branch of Warner Bros. Interactive). Currently, the first 67 issues are collected in 9 volumes.
