Jeff Parker talks Agents of Axis

Following up on a post from last week, Newsarama has posted an interview with Jeff Parker on his new mini-series at Marvel, Agents of Axis, complete with art:

The Golden Age of comics was wheezing its last, and by and large, costumed heroes were fading into the mists. The Atlas books pushed the borders in an attempt to seek out readers – while superheroes did remain, they were, more often than not, mixed with a touch of horror or espionage to (hopefully) widen the appeal.

The characters from that era have appeared very infrequently over the years, and that’s something Marvel editor Mark Paniccia was looking to change. Collecting a group of heroes, Panniccia enlisted writer Jeff Parker to write Agents of Atlas, a six issue miniseries with art by Leonard Kirk and covers by Tomm Coker.
