Shining the spotlight on independent comics

A new comics website called Independent propaganda launched late last month, with the purpose of "shining the light on independently-produced comics, mini-comics, web comics, graphic novels and their creators."



The site includes news, previews, interviews and reviews, and per "Head Cheese" Wesley Craig Green, an online store will open this month:

An Independent Propaganda online store will be going live which will be part of the current Independent Propaganda portal site. The online store gives independent creators and publishers a place to join together to sell their merchandise directly to the consumer. While they can do this via their own web site, what the Independent Propaganda store offers is even more exposure and a collective front. A good analogy would be a lone self-publisher selling their merchandise through their own web site or solitary "store" compared to the same self-publisher setting up their "store" at a mall with other self-publishers and independent creators. They will be exposed to more potential customers.
