"Superboy" coming to DVD
Supermanhomepage.com reports that the syndicated Superboy show from the late 80s will debut on DVD later this year:
Ilya Salkind, who co-produced the first three "Superman" films, "Supergirl", and the "Superboy" television series, shared exclusively with the Superman Homepage that he is working together with Time Warner on the series' first season.
"I would say there is a probability of one in a thousand that the show ["Superboy"] will not be released soon, possibly relatively close to another big movie coming out with the blue suit," Salkind said coyly during a recent telephone interview.
The show aired in syndication from 1988-1992 and starred John Haymes Newton and later Gerard Christopher as the boy of steel.

You know, Christopher, Stacy Haiduk, and the guy who played Lex (Sherman Howard?) were all pretty damn good on that show.
