Marvel.com adds RSS feeds, podcasts

Marvel launched several new features on their Website this week, including podcasts of press conferences and several RSS feeds.

The RSS feeds, found here, cover press releases, weekly on-sale lists and wallpapers. In addition, they've announced they will start offering press conferences via podcast. The first one, featuring Lost writer Damon Lindelof talking about the Ultimate Wolverine vs. Ultimate Hulk mini-series, can be downloaded as an MP3 file here.

To help roll out the new features, Marvel has created "Marvel.com Guy," who recruited a well-known Marvel character to assist with the launch: ... to help build all this new stuff for Marvel.com, we went to some of the greatest brains in the marvel universe . . .

... but they were all busy. Reed Richards was off saving the universe, Hank McCoy was holed up at the X-Mansion in Westchester, and Tony Stark had to cancel our meeting due to a "very sudden and important" one-on-one conference with a pouty Eastern-European supermodel.

We did, however, manage to get Franklin Richards, the precocious 7-year son of Reed and Sue Richards to help with our renovations here, which is why you can see him busily destroying er..working on the site up above.

Check out Franklin's handiwork here.
