Return of Hellboy

According to a recent CBR article June will see the return of Hellboy. Mike Mignola, Hellboy's creator talked to the site and had this to say about the upcoming two issue mini-series entitled Hellboy: The Island:

When asked what this mini-series is about, Mignola told CBR News, "Getting Hellboy off the bottom of the ocean, where he's been the past 3 years. Hellboy washes up on an island where something really horrendous happened. There's some ghosts, a guy coming back from the grave, and what it all kind of comes down to is Hellboy learning a big chunk of his own history and the secret history of the world. It's sort of the Book of Revelations for the Hellboy universe."

I highly recommend reading any and all Hellboy material. I think it's really great when a creator can develop a character and have the flexibility and the foresight to present the character only when it makes sense, and not forcing any kind of ongoing series.
