Beatty tackles Pennyworth

Over at Fanzing.com, Michael Hutchison, webmaster for Scott Beatty's website leaked some info on one of the scribe's upcoming projects:

Scott Beatty.com has just gotten a new webmaster: me! And the site is now updated with preview art from all six Nightwing Year One covers, plus word of a few new projects coming out from Scott in the next few months.

Such as Pennyworth. Alfred Pennyworth. A two-parter in Detective will explore the able butler's past before he joined the Waynes.

Oh, and as payment for my labors I got a peek at next week's Nightwing #102. All I can say is: you're gonna love it!

Sounds interesting. I always admired Beatty's (both with and without Chuck Dixon) great handle on Bat-history. I thought his run on Gotham Knights was actually pretty underrated, so I look forward to seeing him return to monthly Bat-tales, even if for just a little while.
