Fortier launches Speakeasy Comics

Newsarama is reporting that former Dreamwave, IDW and UDON staffer Adam Fortier is launching Speakeasy Comics as a venue for his own creations. The imprint will also provide new creators with a launching pad for their work. Fortier promised more information in the coming weeks. No word on what projects the new company will be launching. Info will be forthcoming. Click on the headline for more.

Sounds a lot like Desperado Comics, the former publisher turned Image Comics imprint. Maybe Larsen should give Speakeasy a look? Well, if he hasn't already.
