She-Hulk's end and return
The Newsarama linking continues. This time, Matt Brady sits down with She-Hulk editor Tom Breevort for the skinny on what's going on with the title. Much like what Marvel has planned for Runaways, She-Hulk will go on hiatus and return with a new #1 later on. Click on the headline for more.
Personally, I hate new #1s. While I know new #1 issues see a spike in sales, do we have to have one every time a new, "big" creative team takes over or with every story shift a title goes through? How many volumes of Iron Man are there now? Thoughts?

I agree with Mr. Segura about new #1's being lame. Marvel was doing some cool stuff a few months back, giving FF, Avengers and Amazing Spidey their old numbers back. But Avengers is getting cancelled, and relaunched with a new #1. And books like Runaways, She-Hulk and Hard Time and their "season by season" approach seem silly as well. Certain books are not going to be top-sellers, companies should understand that, and either flat out cancel it, or accept the sales for what they are. While Runaways might not sell very well, I'm sure Brian K. Vaughn appreciates it being published. Vaughn is a major league talent in my opinion, and keeping Runaways around, even at low sales, is sure to make him more apt to do bigger work for the company. Additionally, there might not be a ton of Runaways readers, but by keeping it around, you can earn some company loyalty from them, and encourage them to pick up something that does sell well, like Astonishing X-Men or Amazing Spider-Man.
