Next week on DVD

Every Friday, we'll spotlight the DVD releases for the following week that may be of particular interest to comic book and animation fans.

If you're anything like me -- and I know you are -- you've been looking forward to The Venture Bros. Season One DVD almost as much as you've been anticipating the Season Two premiere.

Lord knows, both have taken their sweet time getting here.

But now the wait is over. Well, almost.

The two-disc Season One DVD, with all 13 episodes, finally will be released next week. Extras include a bonus episode, "A Very Venture Christmas," and the pilot episode, "The Terrible Secret of Turtle Bay," audio commentary tracks, deleted scenes and a mockumentary going behind the scenes of The Venture Bros. live-action movie. It retails for $29.98.

And what about Season Two? It's set to premiere June 25 on Adult Swim.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Go, Team Venture!
