Moving to The Sticks

If you haven't read The Sticks, the aptly named blog of inker Stacie Ponder (BloodRayne), you're missing out on stick-figure goodness.

Yes, stick-figure goodness.

Yesterday, she posted the first in a series of stick re-creations of classic comic covers: The X-Men #1.

If you poke around her blog, you'll find sketch cards featuring the sticky billety likenesses of Cloak & Dagger, Dr. Strange, Elektra ("if Rosie O'Donnell was cast in the role instead of Jennifer Garner"), Thor, Phoenix and more.

My favorite so far, though, is Ponder's sequential-art summary of most every episode of The X-Files.

She also recently illustrated a chapter of the Nightmare World webcomic, "Hungry Like the Wolf," starring a stick werewolf. Were-stick? Lycantwig?
