I am sure there are some spoilers involved in the following 20 questions. Feel free to answer or not - some of them ARE rhetorical, after all...

9. How funny is it that every time a new X-Men writer takes over the book, "Are you going to make Iceman gay?" is one of the first questions asked?
10. I didn't get it, so someone tell me - anything interesting in Ellis' script for Nextwave, available in the Director's Cut?
11. How much do you think Ed Benes is kicking himself for not drawing the sex scene in Teen Titans Annual?!?
12. I think I may have fallen asleep a few times reading it, so I may have missed it...did we actually learn anything new by reading Infinite Crisis Secret Files? I know we got to actually see how Alex Luthor did it all...but I mean, that was fairly evident from his previous dialogue in Infinite Crisis, no?
13. Can you name me someone you DON'T want to die in Girls?
14. What would have happened if it WAS "The Age of Owl" instead of "The Age of Apocalypse?"
15. While the interiors were quite sad, the covers of "Hush" were pretty neat. Which cover was your favorite? Mine is the one with Batman with a sword (#616, I believe).

3 Comments:
3. How, exactly, can Jason Todd look like Dick Grayson, even kinda?
Waller's using the Wayne DNA future Robin parents.
4. Also, hasn't the two Nightwings thing been done before? Nite-wing, anyone?
And it was better the first time.
6. Third week of One Year Later - which was your favorite One Year Later this week?
I liked the Kryptonite Man's reintroduction in the Superman issue. I think that was this week?
11. How much do you think Ed Benes is kicking himself for not drawing the sex scene in Teen Titans Annual?!?
Bow-chika-BWOWWOW.
15. While the interiors were quite sad, the covers of "Hush" were pretty neat. Which cover was your favorite? Mine is the one with Batman with a sword (#616, I believe).
Bats and Nightwing. Awwwww.
1. No. In fact, it was pretty good, and the first time in YEARS Winick told a pretty good comic book story. Remember, some nasty things happen in Billy's world.
2. Will of JACK BAUER.
3. Bruce Jones has never thought much of his audience's intelligence; why start now?
4. ibid.
5. Pretty funny. Too bad Weiringo didn't draw the issue, though.
6. Didn't buy a single issue of any of the books. Each setup seemed contrived as all fuck. The only one that's worked so far is Firestorm.
7. Right around the marriage.
9. Not that funny.
14. Well, it'd be written by Tom DeFalco, I'd imagine.
15. #611, the Catwoman Ivy bondage cover. Oh crap, did I say that out loud?
16. Tom DeFalco.
17. Hawkeye. But he cheats.
19. Lex.
20. Conducive to Whatever pissy mood the writer is in towards his wife that week.
I haven't read any of these.
1. Do you think Superman/Shazam: First Thunder was a bit too much for a Captain Marvel story?
I bet it sucked!
2. What do you think Captain Marvel was using when he was threatening to tear that dude's head off? Wisdom of Solomon? Courage of Achilles?
See? I was RIGHT!
7. 7. Inspired by this week's Runaways, if you could pluck Spider-Man from any point in the past, and have that be THE Spider-Man, what point in time would you choose?
Ditko High School Version. Spider-man's a coming of age story, basically.
14. What would have happened if it WAS "The Age of Owl" instead of "The Age of Apocalypse?"
I thought Age of Apocalypse was pretty decent. Age of Owl would be 17,000,000 times better. It would have Wolverine vs. Giant Space Owls that keep the citizenry living in fear with lasers!
15. The one with all the girls.
And, hey, I liked Hush.
16. Spider-Girl is dumb! Everybody who knows Spider-Girl is dumb. Yah! Kick her while she's Down!
17. Hawkeye. You can't scew with the power cosmic.
18. Something like "Get Rich Quick for Dummies."
19. Lex.
20. Clark's a better reporter, and gets more scoops. My copy of Superman: Daily Planet Stories wouldn't lie. So - 40%
