Greg Hyland draws Batman for LEGO

Greg Hyland, artist of Lethargic Lad, has been working on comics to accompany the new Batman LEGO sets coming in April:

A lot of people knew that pretty much all last year I was working on a "secret project!"

What I was working on was comics to be put on the boxes of LEGO's new LEGO Batman line!

I did six different comics for the different sets featuring Batman against Catwoman, Killer Croc, Two-Face, The Joker, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, The Riddler, Scarecrow and Poison Ivy. All the sets come with Batman and at least one villain, and the Batcave set comes with Robin and Alfred, and the Arkham Asylum set also comes with Nightwing.

I also ended up doing the storyboards for two Batman TV commercials (as well as two LEGO Star Wars TV commercials) that will hopefully be on air soon, and most recently I did some Flash animation for a LEGO Batman website.

The first Batman LEGO digital comic is now available at the LEGO site, where you can also pre-order the Batman sets.
