Joshua Fialkov on Punks, World's End
Joshua Fialkov recently sent an email to let us know about two upcoming projects he's working on, as well as the status of Elk's Run:
Up first is Punks, a new comic being put together by Kody Chamberlain and myself. It's a monthly comic-type-thing-a-ma-bob about four guys living in a house getting in trouble. Oh yeah. Also, those four guys are a fist, a skull, a dog, and Abe Lincoln. It's done in a 70's/80's style Punk Flyer style, and is incredibly cool. We're being courted by a bunch of publishers, and it's already a pretty fun ride. So, come by, check it out here: http://www.PunksTheComic.com. Sign up for the newsletter, and you'll get updates and some cool exclusive stuff. Our first t-shirts are going on sale shortly, so, check it out.
Second, is World's End. This is the book I'm doing with Scott A. Keating, he of Western Tales of Terror and colorist of Elk's Run. It's a Post-Apocalyptic road movie, with a strange little love story mixed in. Think of it as Mad Max meets Moonlighting, with 200% more mutant sand people. Come by and check it out over at http://www.WorldsEnd-TheComic.com.
Oh, and I've gotten a ton of e-mail about Elk's Run. We should have a better understanding of what's going on and going to happen in the coming weeks, so, hang in there, I'll do my best to keep y'all informed.
