Goodbye Stan Barenstain

I've just learned that Stan Barenstain, the creator of the Barenstain Bears, has passed away.

It's been a long time, but I recall that the Barenstain Bears were some of my favorite illustrated books to read as a child. I was probably looking at the pictures before I could read. The books may not have been as original as those of Dr. Suess, but I remember them to be very exciting and fun.
