IGN interviews Stan the Man

IGN posted an interview with comic legend Stan Lee today on the Fantastic Four DVD, which hit stores this week. Lee talks not only about the current film, but also what he would like to see in the sequel (which was announced earlier this week):

IGN: Because this was the 'origin story' for the group, certain character and story developments by necessity were cut from the group's history. Is there anything in particular in the Fantastic Four lore that you would like to see show up in a subsequent film?

Lee: Oh, there are so many things, and there are so many other characters, but there are going to be lots of sequels, so I'm sure we're going to be seeing all of those things as we move along with the sequels. I mean, we have to have the romance,; they really did touch on it, but then it went away, the romance between the Thing and the blind sculptress. And they're going to have to introduce Galactus and the Silver Surfer at some time, and that's going to really be a spectacle when you see that. As years go by they'll have to have Sue and Reed get married and they'll have to have a little son, Franklin, and all of these things will happen but they'll happen in movie terms rather than comic book terms. But they'll all take place, I'm sure.
