Frankenstein: Monster Mayhem Preview

Over at The Engine message board, R.D. Hall shares a preview of the entire first issue of Frankenstein: Monster Mayhem.

The book, which features some really nice artwork, was solicited back in July: Two detectives find themselves in the horrifying aftermath of a continuation to the original Mary Shelley masterpiece. Doctor Frankenstein hides away from his responsibilities, and is in denial of his recent violent and unholy failure. But Frankenstein's monster gives him no peace, and wants him to forge an army of the undead and assist him in creating a new and superior race. Variant cover limited to 300.

It's written by R. D. Hall and drawn by Jerry Beck , with inks by Tony "Uglyknuckles" Bledsoe ... you just gotta love anything involving someone known as "Uglyknuckles." If you like the preview, make sure you buy the book when it comes out.
