Insert your own joke here ...
Something about pigs flying, hell freezing over or The Red Sox winning the ... wait, nevermind.
Anyway, over on the View Askewniverse Message Board, Kevin Smith reports that he has
finished Spider-Man/Black Cat:
I have finished writing the "Spider-Man/Black Cat: Evil That Men Do" mini-series.
For those of you who're new (or don't follow comics), this is a mini series I started writing back in 2001. I turned in script for issue three back in September of 2002.
But as of a few moments ago, I just forwarded the script to issue six to Axel at Marvel. It's done.
So what about The Target?

"So what about The Target?"
The what?
The what?
Kevin Smith's Daredevil: Target miniseries was designed to ride the soon-to-be success of the Daredevil movie. It explicitly mentioned the "recent" events of 9/11 and explained how Bullseye got the target on his forehead. It had one or two issues come out before disappearing up his own ass.
This hobbled Bendis's Daredevil series until he finally snapped and got approval to go and use the character, doing a fine job, I thought.
One issue of The Target came out, and it was unpleasantly misogynistic, in that unique Smith way. Bullseye didn't have to kill a single mother, he had to kill a single mother who used to enjoy sex with multiple partners!
