Quotation Remarks

Normally I don't engage in Righteous Geek Anger ("Organic web-shooters?!? The nerve!"), but today I have to wonder --
How exactly did "No ... I am your father," certainly one of the most shocking revelations in film history, fail to make the 100 Years, 100 Movie Quotes list? Yes, it was nominated, but so were eminently forgettable lines from the likes of Erin Brockovich and Superfly. And really, if I yelled out "I'm walking here! I'm walking here!" (no. 27) or "La-dee-da, la-dee-da" (no. 55), how many people would smile in recognition of Midnight Cowboy or Annie Hall?
Harrumph.
Still, with the proliferation of AFI Top 100 lists, I'm sure before long we'll see the Top 100 Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Comic Book Movie Quotes Of All Time -- and when we do, I'd like to think "You've got me? Who's got you?" and "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb" will also get their due.
