Of note...
It's a Bird softcover from DC/Vertigo - I really liked the vibe on this one when it was initially released in hardcover. First thing from Seagle in a while that I've enjoyed, and I'm a Kristiansen fan anyway. Anyone who dodged the pricey hardcover might want to check out this more affordable softcover.
Vimanarama #1 (of 3) from DC/Vertigo - The third of Morrison's three planned Vertigo minis, this one with Philip Bond (who also worked with Morrison on Vertigo's Kill Your Boyfriend some years back). Seaguy got a lukeworm reaction from me, but I loved We3. Guess we'll see if this one falls in with the former or the latter.
Young Avengers #1 from Marvel - Marvel's golden hypechild from it's latest wave of new series. Their constant pushing of this series is a turn off for me, like they're figuring if they tell us enough times that it's good, that will make it so. But then, I thought the preview pages that popped up not too long ago were pretty solid.
Doc Frankenstein #2 from Burleyman Entertainment - I can only go purely on hearsay with this one, as I missed the now sold-out first issue. But given the sell-out and a lot of good reviews that have popped up, this might be worth the attempt to jump into.
Stray Bullets #36 from El Capitan - Is this a new issue or a second print of the last one? The issues come out so infrequently I've actually lost track of which issue number was on the last one I picked up. Meh, I'll find out Wednesday. Stray Bullets has been around forever and is always pretty good. Maybe that's worth some confusion.
I couldn't check out more this week even if I wanted to. Picking up Couriers 03 and Escalator last week broke me. They were worth every penny though.
