All The Jock

All The Rage guru Blair Marnell turns in another solid edition of his weekly comic news and rumor column. Amid the Nexus reprints, Hammer of the Gods and JMS tidbits, there was this interesting quote from Losers artist Jock:

Yes, I've done a handful of Batmancovers over the last year or so. I was signed on to do a run of Catwoman covers, but only completed two before getting the chance to take over as Batman cover artist from Matt Wagner, so I'll be starting that in the next month or so. You heard it here first!

Color me excited. I wasn't really a big fan of Wagner's static cover work on Batman, but I almost want to see regular artist Doug Mahnke get a shot.
