Random Factoid...

With Warren Ellis' Apparat experiment at its end, I find myself liking - not at all surprisingly - ANGEL STOMP FUTURE best of the four comics. It most reminds me of Transmetropolitan, which is pretty much my bible, so it was a given.

But something that not everybody might have picked up on...

The opening scene to ANGEL STOMP FUTURE is actually lifted directly from one of Ellis' LiveJournal fastfiction posts (a prior experiment of his). Read the comic again, then click here and read that.

Rather spiffy to see the piece evolve from stray thought to illustrated form, yes? Damn right. And Warren? Please do something with Echo Grey next. You'd absolutely make my day, you would.
