All The Rage Update: Cockrum's Futurians return
As mentioned here earlier, All The Rage has finally revealed it's big update: Dave Cockrum's Futurians are coming back, this time from IDT Entertainment.

As some of you may know, Cockrum has been suffering from a combination of illnesses, and only recently was released from a VA hospital to return home. Cockrum also recently struck a deal with Marvel to gain some form of compensation (and rumored health benefits) for his hand in creating the All-New, All-Different X-Men team that debuted in Giant-Size X-Men #1.
Cockrum explains the details behind the deal:
My good friend, Clifford Meth, got me connected with IDT Entertainment, who are interested in the Futurians, most likely as a live action feature film, although they're also studying the possibility of an animated film or TV series. Cliff is currently the writer of record, and we'll be working closely together on a screen treatment. That ought to be fun. Current plans are to adapt all or part of the first Futurians graphic novel, originally published as Marvel Graphic Novel #9.
Also of note, Cockrum is putting the finishing touches on a new Futurians comic series, also coming from IDT:
Yes, indeed. I'm nearly finished penciling and scripting the first new issue of Futurians, which is, I believe, slated to be inked by Bob Wiacek. I believe IDT is thinking of reprinting the existing stuff first, then continuing on into the new series.
I'm curious to learn more about IDT, though. Can't say I've ever heard of them. Congrats to Cockrum, though, on getting some credit and much-needed cash for his great creation. How 'bout that Dave Cockrum co-creator credit? Anyone? Hello?
