Now, am I the only person that's a fan of the Essential compilations? I really wish they'd do more of those. I'm pretty stokedf about The Essential Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man. I can't be the only one.

While having all this stuff in trade form is well and good, does anyone think Marvel–and every other publisher–might be missing the boat a bit? What about newsstand distribution? Or having comics in video game and toy stores? I don't think they're gonna ensnare younger, newer readers by flooding Barnes and Noble. Just my two cents.
