Bob Burden update

Mel Smith of Wildcard Ink sent us an update on the condition of comic creator Bob Burden:

Bob has undergone 4 hours of surgery to stop an infection to his intestinal region and is resting in stable condition now. The last few days have been touchy but in true Burden spirits he is doing amazing so say the doc's. I will be finding out more soon but any letters and cards are most appreciated as I know they will make him feel even better.

In addition to creating Flaming Carrot and the Mystery Men, back in the 1980s Burden worked with Art Adams on a series of Gumby specials for Comico. Burden is currently working with artist Rick Geary on a new Gumby comic that will be published by Wildcard Ink this summer.
