Superman Returns: The Video Game

Electronic Arts (EA) has released the first screenshot from the upcoming Superman Returns video game:



You can see Superman WAYYYYYY off in the background behind the robot. Per Joystiq, the game lets players play as an "invincible" Superman whose missions are focused on saving Metropolis rather than keeping the health meter filled.

EA hasn't been doing so well lately, blaming lackluster game sales on consumers "sitting on the sidelines and not spending dollars in anticipation of getting their hands on the next-generation console." So they're hoping people go nuts for the new Superman Returns title later this year.
