Red Star: The Movie
Sci-Fi Wire is reporting that Universal has plans to adapt the comic book Red Star into a movie. The title, published by Archangel Studios, featured a fantasy saga in a world modeled after the Soviet Union.
The plans call for Timur Bekmambetov to develop the project. Bekmambetov is the Soviet-born director of the Night Watch trilogy. His other projects include an adaptation of Mark Millar's Wanted book.

I assume that, like the book, the movie will just abruptly stop after an hour or so and then never be heard from again.
