The New X-Men

It's been reported that Mei Melancon is going to portray Psylocke in X-Men 3.

Who's Mei Melancon? Good question. She doesn't have a very extensive acting resume.

After looking over the cast listings for the rest of the film, I realized that there are a some other less familiar faces portraying some, more or less, familiar characters.

There's Mercedes Scelba-Shorte playing the role of M. One of the more prominent characters used in the Generation X series.




Eric Dane has the role of Madrox, the star of the new X-Factor series.








Olivia Williams is set to play Dr. Moira MacTaggart, a long-time recurring character in the X-Men series until she was killed off a few years ago.






There's also Ben Foster as Angel and Vince Murdocco as Omega Red. It also appears that we'll be seeing return appearances by the actors who protrayed Siryn, Jubilee, Kitty Pryde, and Colossus.
