Meth o.d. Preview

Clifford Meth, who I interviewed recently, was kind enough to provide a preview of a page from his upcoming book Meth o.d., featuring art by William Messner-Loebs:

Bill (I can't pronounce Wm. so I call him Bill) was given my story "Back on the Horse," which is about a divorced, middle-aged guy returning to dating for the first time. Bill read it and called me.

"It's back on the whores, Cliff," he said.

"Be subtle," I said.

"Coming from you," he said, "that can mean anything from howitzer to atom bomb."
