The Good Son is a Bad Novelist

Comics as a vehicle for autobiography seem to be all the rage these days, and such rage has apparently not eluded Macaulay Culkin according to the first review now out from The Book Standard of the actor's debut novel Junior.

With Junior, an audaciously empty mishmash of poems, letters, comics, etc., former child star Culkin (of Home Alone fame) has managed to lower the already low bar set for celebrity fiction.

It would seem the new Phoebe Gloeckner he is not.
