Can't Wait for Wednesday
Welcome to the second edition of what we hope to be a regular feature here at The Great Curve. The idea is simple ... just tell us what you plan to get at your local comic shop (or via mail order) this week, and what one book you're looking forward to the most. You can consult Diamond's shipping list to find out what comics will hit shops this week.
This week Marvel brings us several debuts: Ultimate Extinction #1, Daughters of the Dragon #1, Ares #1 and X-Men: The 198 #1. DC has a new Elfquest mini and on the trade front, the first collection of Grant Morrison's Seven Soldiers project and a collection of Alan Moore's DC universe stories. If you're looking for something off the beaten path of the big two, IDW presents Super Bad James Dynomite #1 by the Wayans brothers.
The book I'm most looking forward to this week is Fables, one of my current favorite monthlies. This week's issue is the conclusion of the Arabian Knights storyline, as "the Arabian Fable refugees make a fateful decision on their future place in the Mundy world."

Gosh, not a lot this week -- Desolation Jones #5 and She-Hulk #4. Looking forward to both of them, and going to see if I can find/order a copy of the groovy Essential Marvel Universe Handbook that came out recently...
A1 Bojeffries Terror Tomes #1 - I'm not sure if I'll get this. It would depend on how much of it Alan Moore's actually written.
