Dan Jurgens on Aquaman and Smallville

For the most part, I thought it was a lot of fun. One of the toughest things about writing Aquaman is to do it in such a way that he's taken seriously. We've all heard the jokes. But they handled him well and even pulled off the water ball stunt from the old animated series. And, since that knocked Clark for quite a loop while an explosion couldn't budge him an inch, we can assume it's fairly powerful stuff. It's a bit unfortunate the story centered around a lake rather than an ocean, but it's one of those things you can roll with. The 'JLA' and 'orange and green' color combo jokes were fun as well. And now that we've seen Aquaman, can Lori LeMaris be far behind?For me, two fins up!
