The Week at the Curve

Week of May 8, 2005

This was a week of a lot of good shorts, so excuse me if this week's rundown appears a bit abbreviated. Meanwhile, here are the highlights. The big three to check out from the week looked a little something like this:

Michael May
finally clued me in to the Seven Samurai-esque nature of Marvel's old Star Wars miniseries. Rest assured, you may read this and it will surely only make Revenge of the Sith look good when it comes out this week.

Markisan took a pointed look at the non-successes of one of the most misused writers in comics today--that guy named Priest.

Tom Bondurant's Bullet Time this week might have gotten the most nods, however, bringing up the new DC logo and pondering the complex DC seems to have developed.

Also, make you you didn't miss the new Ultimate U. sketches, Thanagarian propoganda, and John Byrne on Miracleman. And that's your cheat sheet for the week. See you round the Curve.
